Woodland Gardens ·
Small Gardens Along A Long Path
Maple Blend Path
Scattered along the trail are a handful of quiet gardens — a raked stone garden, a still reflecting pond, a lantern-lit path, and a soft carpet of moss and fern beneath the maples. Each is a small place to slow down before continuing on.
ZEN STONE GARDEN
A Place To
Sit With Stillness
Raked gravel curves in slow lines around a handful of moss-covered stones, framed on every side by maples. There is little to do here but sit on the low wooden bench and let the eyes follow the pattern in the sand — a small pause built into the shape of the garden itself.
REFLECTING POND
The Canopy,
Mirrored Below
On still mornings the pond becomes a second sky, doubling the red and gold canopy overhead in perfectly quiet water. A dragonfly occasionally skims the surface, sending out slow rings, and somewhere beneath the reflection a koi drifts unhurried through the color.
STONE LANTERNS
Light Along
The Evening Path
As daylight fades, stone lanterns along the garden path begin to glow, casting a soft, warm light across the stones. Maple shadows shift slowly overhead, and the same path that felt bright and open by day turns hushed and intimate by dusk.
MOSS & FERN FLOOR
A Quiet World
Underfoot
Beneath the maples, moss and fern spread out in a soft green carpet, dotted with fallen leaves and dappled light. Crouch close and the forest floor becomes its own small world — quiet, textured, and easy to overlook if you only ever look up at the canopy.
A Note On Garden Etiquette
Walking Gently Through The Gardens
These gardens are shared, quiet spaces. We simply ask that you keep to the stone paths rather than stepping onto the moss or gravel, speak softly out of consideration for others taking in the view, and leave the leaves and stones exactly as you found them. Small courtesies like these are what keep each garden calm and unchanged for the next visitor.
