Where The Forest
Meets Running Water
The Kiyotaki Stream Path traces the edge of a clear mountain stream as it winds down through the forest. Small wooden bridges carry the trail back and forth across the water, and sunlight breaks through the maple canopy in shifting patches, scattering across the current below.
It is a cooler, quieter route than most on the mountain — shaded almost the entire way, with the sound of the stream keeping company at every turn. Walkers often describe it as the most restorative of the forest's paths.

Wooden Bridges,
Dappled Light
Each bridge crossing offers a new angle on the water — sometimes a still, glassy pool reflecting the maples above, sometimes a shallow run tumbling over smooth stones. In early autumn or late spring, when the canopy is lighter, the interplay of shade and sun on the stream is especially vivid.
The path stays cooler than the drier ridge trails nearby, making it a comfortable choice on warmer days or for anyone who prefers a gentler, more sheltered walk.
